Networking and Learning Forum
A networking and learning forum in which experienced HR leaders and senior HR Business partners from across the UK and Continental Europe meet to share experiences and strengthen their personal capabilities and contribution and that of the HR function of which they are a part.
The forum is not a large meeting: it is certainly not a conference. Numbers are limited and all attendees can expect to contribute by sharing, debating and listening. The agenda is set by members and is fully flexible. Each meeting is different. There is just consistent element - we all learn something new at each meeting!
Why you should invest time in attending?
Spend quality time with your peers from different organisations / sectors "sharing" the reality of being an HR leader. Become part of a superb learning environment that provides support, challenge and space to think. Access provocative speakers and thought leaders. Benefit from quality networking and the means to enhance HR effectiveness. Share thoughts and experience on how to proactively influence your own organisation’s HR model and, more importantly, its entire business strategy.
"This is a great way to keep abreast of what's happening in the real world not the theoretical world of journals and books"... "I know I should network but I never get the time - this is a great way of getting networking on a plate" - quote from HRBP FTSE 20 financial services organisation.

Attendee Quotes
"You know how it is, you look at your diary on a Monday and see a 2 day event on Thursday and Friday. You're really not sure if you can give up that much time and are wondering why you accepted this in the first place. Nevertheless I made the commitment and attended the Oxen Park HR Business Partner Learning Forum at Burnham Beeches last week. I am really glad I did; this was a unique opportunity to debate and discuss with like-minded HR professionals one of the least understood roles in modern HR teams. It was fun, thought provoking and stimulating; I recommend Oxen Park to HR Directors and Senior HR Business Partners alike."
"Sometimes it is too easy to focus internally on your own Business especially in tough times, so to spend 24 hour with HR professionals from other industries engaging in stimulating discussion, sharing learnings,(both the good and the bad!) and to debate on the development of our function, was great and something I recommend. Oxen Park gave me that opportunity."
"Upgrading the performance of HR was the common interest of all those participating in the HR Business Partner Forum. Companies represented were at different stages of creating differential management of HR Transactional and HR Strategic services for their businesses.
This created a highly interactive learning environment which identified common issues and potential solutions - all of which was efficiently facilitated by the Oxen Park colleagues. It was encouraging to see the value which businesses were realising from the new HR design and the many opportunities to make further advances."
"The informal and relaxed format worked extremely well. The one-on-one networking opportunities during the breaks and over dinner presented an extremely valuable opportunity for exchange. The frank insights were of a kind that you are never likely to get in a public seminar."
"Our discussions reinforced the absolute importance of Business Partners seeing themselves as an integral part of the model together with the Service Centre and the Centre of Excellence. It only works with all parts functioning effectively and the business partner is a key player in making this happen."
